Do you tip regularly out of habit? Or only when something is done extraordinary? What do u consider extraordinary tip-worthy barista behavior? Remembering your multi-process drink combo? Knowing/remembering your name? Do you tip if it is a walk-up-to the counter service, or only if its brought to your table/seating area?

With all the media hype surrounding the bad quality and health problems assoicated with eating fast food (burger, chicken etc) outlets, do you find yourself secretly (or openly) judging people who go in there for food? Or is all ok?

Why when paying a bill at a restaurant does your server ask, "Do you need change?" Yes I need the change! You give me the change and I will give you the tip after I get it...lets not be so presumptuous! also, why do they need to ask my CHILDREN if they would like dessert? I do not know about the rest of you guys, but that kind of annoys me. I tend to tip less than my 20 percent when these events occur.....

I think they really suck. We ate there a few weeks ago and it was terrible plus we paid way too much. I am very disappointed! That was our last trip to RT. Things have changed around there and it is not good. What do you think?

Okay,so when you receive your check you give the waiter or waitress your credit card, they swipe it and print out a receipt. Then you sign the check, adding a tip, and you leave. If they already charged your credit card for your meal without the tip, and you leave immediately after adding the tip, how does the tip get added to your credit card if they already swiped it?

A few months ago I travelled to a country where i ate at an Italian restaraunt, but the food that i ate was the first time for me. I was just looking at the menu and maybe because what was mentioned about the food made me go for it.

My question here is, whats the name of the food? I really loved it but i cant rememeber the name. Anyways let me explain what it was.

It was an italian dish for sure, which was like rice or looked like one and mixed with white sauce and cheese.
