You don't do much, you are mostly sitting down and afterwards you are full with really bad food.

i'm non-arab and i'm going to be going to my Arab friend's home for dinner and i dont' want to do anything to upset him or his parents. i feel like all cultures have their own manners used when eating at home.
are there any manners that go along when eating @ Arab people's homes?

I have travelled in parts of the world where people enjoy eating various fried and cooked insects. You can buy them at the market there. And you can catch and cook them in your home.

I've tried eating some fried insects mixed with salad. And they tasted pretty good. Has anyone else tried this?

People in Western countries often say that eating insects is disgusting. But most of them have no idea what they are talking about because they've never tried eating insects.

Seems like I always ask myself this question when eathing out "Does this chef/cook really think this is the best this could taste?" I would be embarresed at most places. I would never send out anything I did not think tasted better than anything anyone else had ever made. Why is this the case?

Why does everyone get mad at me for allowing my kids to swear when they express themselves? Really- do these words actually HURT? She needed to know that she shouldn't be taking her bad day out on us, right? Shouldn't she have been fired?

I'm a server on third shift, so I deal with a lot of loud drunks and obnoxious teens. Last night we were super busy from the moment I walked in the door. Another server was waiting on this table of 6 ppl. who were rude and demanding from the get go. They were purposely being loud saying (not even to anyone in particular) "where the hell is our food!" and "we're starving, this is ridiculous!" making a scene as if nobody else had to wait for their food. Anyway, one time I walked by as they were saying 'where's my food?' and after I passed them I said out loud "McDonald's!" and kept going bout my business.....they FREAKED! It was hilarious. I denied I was talking to them though considering they weren't talking to anyone directly in particular. What do you guys think about this? Are you this rude to your server when you dine out? Do you know that we only run out your food, NOT cook it OR manage the KITCHEN staff.....who is also highly disrespected? Comments, please.
