I love this question as I have often asked myself that same thing. I came up with two ideas that have stuck with me. The first is a steak house that has a grill where you could cook your own steak after picking it out of a case with alot of variety and the second being an old fashioned mom and pop style restaurant that serves good old fashioned home-cooking only because i think they are few and far in between anymore and we are losing something by not having them around anymore.

As a server, I continuously locate it functional to save a minimum of $5 or $10 in money on you in case you need to pay through mastercard. Paying through mastercard is unquestionably effective believe me. I easily have worked at eating places the position the server handles the money and that i at the moment paintings at one the position cashiers cope with the money. In my present day situation, i'd like that the custome provide me a tip instantly in money (and definite I easily have considered a good number of shoppers bypass pay their bill and then walk decrease back contained in the eating room to in my opinion hand the end to the server so as that they comprehend that they were given it). At my eating position, we've had some themes with the busboys taking suggestion off the tables. Say you position 6 one dollar charges on the table. some busboys will take a dollar the following, a dollar there so it doesn't look as in case you in undemanding words were given thoroughly stiffed on a tip. That receives suspicious in the journey that they took all of it without delay. I propose afterall, in case you ,depart at the same time as i'm setting up yet another tables order and after I come to the table to get my tip and the bustboys are cleansing it up, how do i comprehend you actual positioned $6 or $7 there as a substitute of the $5 that I see on the table now that the bussers have taken a dollar or 2. Plus, in eating places the position the cashiers cope with the money, often times they ignore to positioned the mastercard suggestion into the computer even if you wrote a tip down on your mastercard slip. Handing the end in my opinion to the server is common approaches to make certain that they were given the end, particularly in nonstop busy eating places the position money ought to easily magically "disappear".

I would love to own a soulfood restaurant, becuase I've been told that I'm a really good cook. My restaurant would be operated like a buffet style restaurant. I believe people should be able to enjoy great food for one good price.

My first instinct was towards Italian, because it is good food, but, at least in my area, there are so many Italian restaraunts that it would be difficult...so, I chose maybe a cafe style deal, wtih sandwiches and coffee and such.
