-I've searched the home support of HP and online but they all give me the same response of dictions that led to nowhere and pointless remarks.

-I need help on where to find the proper place to get the HotSync.

-And even then I would need a "HotSync" to download or buy "Any" computer programers? right>? or are they different>?

I want to get a handheld computer, which one should I get?
I basically want it for going online, IM, and the word processor. It has to support Java, and other newer browser options. I want to be able to add a wireless card so I can use it with my wireless internet at home. I would also like it to play mp3's.

I have an AXIM x51v. Very nice little gadget with mp3 capability. Nice sound with headphones. My daughter has itunes & an ipod and I'd LOVE to be able to put some songs on my storage cards and play them on my AXIM. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how to do it? Thanks in advance.

I am looking for a new cell phone but with certain requirements. I currently have a cell phone and a PDA but both are getting older. I would like to replace both with one device that is capable of certain features. I would like 1) A simple phone, 2) An organizer that I can have all of my contact information in, including a phone book all that can be synchronized with outlook 2003, 3) Bluetooth headset capable, 4) has an integrated speakerphone, and 5) one that can take a slight beating but is built tough. If anyone knows of such a device (preferably one that can be used on U.S. Cellular networks) please let me know. I greatly appreciate it.

i love the axim, but it seems when i try to find a program that will allow me to put dvds on it, it costs about $40. do you know of any good programs that will do that for free? i mean not just a trial period, but 100% free?

What about a Palm Pilot? For now it does not matter what the OS is. Would you connect it to a mobile phone; purchase an upgrade, what kind; do nothing because they are ready WLAN; or wireless phone?

I use MS outlook on my main computer and have a huge number of contacts built up over the years. Yes answer is to painr it down and manage. I use a pocket pc as my travel machine and use Active Sync for keeping the calendar, to do list etc in sync. I however do not use for contacts as the list is huge and will bog my little ppc down. Is there any method for making a sync only with specified contacts. Thank you.

Any step by step instructions please! The PDA and dongle recognise each other, and when I ask my active sync to sync via bluetooth, it says it needs info on a COM port? I am a utter computer illiterate, so any help or advice on the exact steps to set up a perfectly working bluetooth/sync would be great.

They previous user had a it password protected which makes sense. But I can't seem to find a copy of Windows Mobile 2003 SE to download so i can reinstall it.. when i trun my p800 on in the start up it shows me a dialog box which says :"the internal memory is full and corrupted and it will be reformatted" when accept the dialog box my phone dosent work and it becomes out of control the screen becomes white and nothing just happend!

I got a palm pilot for xmas {palm z22} and it came with solitaire, but i'm stuck and i cant figure out how to reset it. is this just a trial and do i have to buy the game or is there a way to reset the game thats on there? i'm really frustrated, thanks for any advice

I never had a PDA in my life. I am an engineer, so I would like to use it for my profession. My budget is no more that $250.
I would like a PDA with expandability (so I am not stuck). There are many options, and I am not exactly clear which one to choose. Can you recommend to me?
