I am looking for a new cell phone but with certain requirements. I currently have a cell phone and a PDA but both are getting older. I would like to replace both with one device that is capable of certain features. I would like 1) A simple phone, 2) An organizer that I can have all of my contact information in, including a phone book all that can be synchronized with outlook 2003, 3) Bluetooth headset capable, 4) has an integrated speakerphone, and 5) one that can take a slight beating but is built tough. If anyone knows of such a device (preferably one that can be used on U.S. Cellular networks) please let me know. I greatly appreciate it.

Try the Sony Ericsson M 600i. It is a simple phone, easy to use with all phone like features.
Has good memory and organizer capabilities and syncs with outlook effortlessly.
Its speakerphone is very good.
I have dropped it twice from my shirts pocket and it bears no evidence to the fall.
It also has bluetooth, touchscreen , quick office, stylus and push e-mail.
Its quite reasonbly priced, has no camera and is probably one of the smallest PDA phones in the business.

Try to get an Eten device. Often (depending on the Cellular provider) the Eten devices are named "Torq".

I have the Eten M600 device. It has a Samsung 400 MHz Processor that is blazingly fast.
It has bluetooth capability, so you can use your bluetooth headset.
It has wireless LAN, so you could use Skype to talk cheaply to other phone users without having to pay expensive cellular bills.

It syncs excellently with Outlook 2003 and you can use your contacts from Outlook as contacts in your phone.

Its a fine MP3 player, too.

Other Eten devices have built in GPS, so you can also use the device for car Navigation. Or you can send GPS coordinates via GPS to a friend and he can find you with his GPS enabled phone device.

Although I wouldn't call the Eten rugged, its not a flimsy device. I dropped it accidentally twice on our wooden floor, and it still works. Its not meant to be a device for construction workers that drop devices onto concrete or let trucks run over it. It is however more than suitable for any businessperson on the go and can withstand "normal" beatings.
