PDAs & Handhelds

The one I am getting comes with the system, AC adaptor, and battery pack.
So....would I have to buy a USB separate from that to upload music, etc??
And as long as I have an AC adapter I wont have to buy a bettery right.....

After entering contacts into "palm desktop" on my PC, and syncronizing I caanot find the them on my palm T5. That is to say the contacts do not appear in Contact folder of my handheld. Are they somewhere else? Something wrong with synch? I appreciate if anyone could help.

I want to make a program when I call/sms on a mobile no (running that software) it will automatically return cell area information on calling no through SMS. (As cell area information is always received by any mobile device from BTS).

I've been a Palm girl ever since I could spell PDA, however after my latest escapade with their TX (Terrible eXperience) I've decided that it might be about time to start looking elsewhere for a product. I'm either going to return my TX for refund, or get a replacement and sell it. No matter what, I'm going to need a new PDA. I'm going to do the research myself, but can you suggest somewhere to start? What are some companys that sell PDAs? I only know of Palm, Dell and HP. Any others I can look up and any information on good prices?
