can i add documents on my ipod if i can how?

You can add documents, but they are only plain text documents, like a notepad document(.txt). You do this by first enabling Disk usage under the preferences menu, and clicking the enable disk usage check box. Then when you plug your iPod in, go through my computer and your iPod will show up as a drive. Click it, and then click the notes folder. Finally, you just drag the .txt file onto the notes folder, and it should show up on your iPod, under extras>notes.

you can carry documents on ipod video although you cannot view them unless you put it into .txt format (notepad).
To put them onto your ipod go into "my computer", then click "ipod", then "notes" and drop any documents in here.
