I have an AXIM x51v. Very nice little gadget with mp3 capability. Nice sound with headphones. My daughter has itunes & an ipod and I'd LOVE to be able to put some songs on my storage cards and play them on my AXIM. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how to do it? Thanks in advance.

Although you won't be able to use iTunes to get the music on your PDA, the Windows Media Player Version 10 and above has the same functionality.
You can download Version 11 from http://update.microsoft.com

If you use a SD-Card or similar storage device for your PDA, you can either sync the music via Active Sync through your PDA Device (which is rather slow) or through a card reader which is faster.

Just open up Media Player 11 and klick the "Synchronize" button at the top left.
Then drag your music to the left into the Syncronize list.
Or let Media Player automatically sync. your favorite music that you gave 4 or more stars to your device.

Furthermore, if you want, you can choose to compress the music even more, when it's synced to your device. You will reuce the sound quality a bit, but depending on where you want to listen to the music (e.g. your car, while jogging or other not-quiet places) you won't hear much of a difference.
If you compress your synced music to 64bit WMA, you can almost get twice as much music on your device than using high quality MP3s.

Does the Axim use a removable memory card? If it does, hook it up to the computer, go to "My Computer", select the memory card folder and open it up and transfer her songs over to it manually. Do that by opening up the folder on the computer containing the music and drag the songs you want over to the card. If it doesn't have a removable card, hook the Axim up (via usb) and go into "my computer" and see if it's listed. If it is, do the same thing.

Otherwise , you'll have to read the Axim documentation, as it may sync using Windows Media Player. iTunes only works with iPods, so you can't use that.
