ok...

i was using the alarm, and i wanted to see if it worked when you turned it off.
and it did. so, i tried to turn it back on... i heard the clickwheel, but no sound. then none at all. then it woundn't turn on at all when i holded down the bottom button...

then, i plugged it into the computer and nothing happened.

im really confused.....

I have an Ipod mini, one of the old gold ones. It loses power even when it's off within a couple of hours. Also, I can charge it completely, and only listen to it for 1 or 2 hours before it dies. WTF? Is there something wrong with it? Can the problem be repaired? Can i replace the battery? I really don't want a new ipod, i just want miine to work better. Got any advice? THANKS.

I would like to download music on my computer. Havent got a clue. no ipod, no mp3, no speakers! Do i stand a chance at all. dont even know where to begin.
As an easy peasy start, can I look for a tune on my computer and send it to my mobile as a ring tone?
Where do i look for these tunes?

i've read a couple of reviews and so far saying it a good deal for it's low price. but i really dont wanna wait 5 days spend 13 dollars (order over the internet) and then find out it's not as good as i expected.

So, here's the deal:
I have about 357 songs on my ipod, and my itunes library and everything was all on my sister's computer. Then her computer got some bad virus...etc. and basically, my account and everything-including itunes is gone from her computer. So now I've been left with just the ipod with the songs on it. I have my own computer now and a new iTunes library (empty, of course). How can I copy the songs from my iPod into the library now? What I'm afraid will happen is that when I plug my ipod into the computer, all the songs will be erased automatically because the library is blank (this has happened before-i learned the hard way)...
Or maybe is there some way that I can copy the songs from the ipod onto CDs, so that they're at least backed up? And then transfer the songs from the CDs to iTunes? What do I do?! I just don't want to lose all my songs!
Help?!

I accidentally took the USB out of my computer when my iPOD said "Do not disconnect" and the iPOD screen froze. What do I do? Do I need to take it to the Apple store, or is this something I can fix on my own?
