i've read a couple of reviews and so far saying it a good deal for it's low price. but i really dont wanna wait 5 days spend 13 dollars (order over the internet) and then find out it's not as good as i expected.

You get what you pay for. But there are still some inexpensive earphones which sound very well. However, if you want a certain sound, then you have to look into that aswell. Some earphones produce too much treble or too much bass, or vice versa.

Here are some suggestion for some earphones to look into:

I think that with electronics, you pretty much get what you pay for. $13 is not that much money to spend on a pair of earphones, but it's more than I usually spend. I wouldn't think of Coby as a very reputable brand. If I spent $13 on a pair of Coby earphones I would expect better than the cheapest pair but not that great.
