I want to purchase an IPOD and the apple site has some returned IPODs that have been refurished on their site---would you trust purchasing these?

I grew up in the age of compact LPs players, and they really had good stereo sounds, and the separate systems: receivers, turntables for LPs [later the cd players]. tape cassette players, speakers and headphones. But I have the feeling they are going way to the museum. With the computer, satelite radio and ipods, it looks like. What do you think?
P.D.: I listen to my classical music cds in a dvd player connected to an amplifier.

I'm buying this fender 60 watt rumble combo bass amp and im confused. On the fender website description of this model it said that the power was 60 watts, but then i looked down at the speakers section and it said that the speaker was 100 watts. If you want to take a look: here's were i saw this: (follow my directions below link)

After you get there go down to the box title "related links" in the bottom right corner. Click the link that says "Specs". Click on that and a window should pop up. look don at the row title "output". it says 60 watts, right? now go down to the "speakers" row. You see? one says 60 one says 100 watts. Somebody explain please!

Hi all,

I currently have the Yamaha p120 (which has a lot of classical sounds but not synths) but I need to upgrade to a keyboard/synthesizer.

My question is - Is the Korg Triton worth it? Does it have guitar, drums, techno, synth type sounds?

Can I add sounds to it?
Is there anything else you can recommend for less cost?

I know it's a lot of question but please any input will be so appreciated. I'm planning to make my purchase soon!

I am looking for recommendations for a new mp3 player that does not require software to transfer music. I do not want to use iTunes or Windows Media Player. I do not want to use playlists, rate my music, or any other functions. I do not want to use music with digital rights management. I simply want the mp3 player to be recognized by Windows as a hard drive so I can drag and drop my music to the player and then select the folder or track I want to play. My iRiver H320 is perfect but it is dying and needs to be replaced. Any ideas?

When you plug the iPod into it, does the message "Do not disconnect" appear, as it does when plugged into a computer? (my reason for asking this is because i hate how it resets the position in shuffle)

Does it come with an extra cord? (I've heard it does, also that it doesn't) Does that change from store to store?

Does the charge last as long as it does with a computer?

Is it worth it?

I think that's it, I'll add more if I think of anything

I have a ton of vinyl records and would like to be able to put them onto my computer so I can transfer them to an iPod or a Zune so I can listen to them. I want to gift a IPOD to my husband on his Bday which falls next month.:-)
Since i want it a surprize so I cant tell him, and i dont know much about all this stuff...
Can any1 plz help me which kind of IPOD will be best giving him and what will be the cost? i want a basic one..not much fancy...
