Music & Music Players - March 2007

I bought a Creative Zen Sleek MP3 players almost a year ago, and was fine ripping music from CDs to listen to. But now, when I tried to download some music onto it, I realise to my horror that iTunes has quite annoyingly converted all of it's downloads into AAC and coded MP3 files which will not play back on anything other than an iPod. Is there anyway I can download MP3s that will play back on my Zen

And please don't suggest sites like LimeWire or eMule as last time I used those, I had a long list of Trojans queuing up to attack my PC. Does anyone know where I can get legal, virus free MP3s of popular songs onto an MP3 player that is not an iPod. .. Please help me ... I'm desperate.

It scanned through other songs and didn't play. The bar where it shows the time left or time doesnt move and the music doesnt play. I checked the ear phones that isn't it, and i made sure the volume was up. I'm charging it now.
But the main thing is, is that its my moms. I use limewire, my computer windows installer won't let me use iTunes.
Is there anyway this problem could be fixed without serious SERIOUS attetnion? (like i dont have to tell anyone)

Ok, I lost my USB 2.0 Cable to my 30GB iPod Video. I can't find it anywhere!! And it's REALLY annoyin the heck out of me because i just can't find it in the house!!! Anywho, My question is...Does the iPod AV Connection Kit, from Apple, go with the USB 2.0 Cable? Since i can't find my cable i was thinking that i can get this pack that goes with more plug-ins for my iPod. So, does it go with USB 2.0 Cable that will plug into my computer and charge my iPod like it does with the one that i lost?

I bought an apple ipod 30 gb at walmart two months ago. When I first bought the ipod I charged the battery for four hours. Everytime I play the ipod the battery usually last for about 5 hours and goes red and I have to recharge. Is this normal? Should I set something on my ipod so the battert will last longer?
Is that how long the battery usually last 5 hours? I know on the ipod site it says 8 hours and up but is ia a brand new ipod. Please let me know how long your ipod battery last before you have to recharge it? My ipod is 2 months old.

My Ipod is severely corrupted, It's beyond fixing.

I got it in July 06, If I bring it back to the Apple Store will I get a new one? Or should I bring it to another chain of stores? Or bring it to where I got it from.

I love to listen to music, especially loud music and i've never had a really good pair of in-ear headphones that can handle maximum volume without having the bass etc. crackle. Can anyone reccomend a pair which, if possible, are in the classic mould (origional i-pod earphones for example). Thank you

Well my iPod has been having a few malfunctions and now i tried restoring it and it won't sync any songs onto my iPod. I think it's the hardrive of the iPod because when I turn it on to it make this weird scratchy like noise. I put my ear near the back and hear this scratchy noise too. Also, I have a Windows Vista so does that affect the iPod in anyway at all? Should I try to fix it or should I just buy a new one?

It is fairly new, has no problems and hasn't been dropped, got wet or damaged in any way. I have had no problems with it in the past, but now it refuses to turn on.
It ran out of battery and when I plug it in to the wall, nothing happens, no lights come on to signify that it has been connected to a power source. I have left it charging all night, but still it refuses to turn on.
Is there any way Ican bring it back to life?
