(I know, I am totally behind technology). It is a 1GB MP3 PLAYER and I am trying to figure out how many songs I can get on it. Any estimates you can give me? Thanks so much in advance.

No more than 200. I have a 1gb ipod and i have almost a hundred and fifty. but i have like a few 20 minute songs and 2 podcasts. So probubly close to two hundered. But no more. Alot of mp3's u can put on shuffle when its charging on the computer so you get different stuff each time u charge it incase you have more songs than that.

All depends on the length of the song. Given an average 3 minute song, you could probably hold about 250 songs.

Depends on the size
If you have . mp3 files - around 300 songs
If you have real audio files - atleast 1000 songs

So enjoy

About 5MB per song, so perhaps 200 songs or one Grateful Dead jam.
