I let my friend hold my iPod during class and when he went to click to listen to another song....?

Question

It scanned through other songs and didn't play. The bar where it shows the time left or time doesnt move and the music doesnt play. I checked the ear phones that isn't it, and i made sure the volume was up. I'm charging it now.
But the main thing is, is that its my moms. I use limewire, my computer windows installer won't let me use iTunes.
Is there anyway this problem could be fixed without serious SERIOUS attetnion? (like i dont have to tell anyone)

i dont know if i should call customer service because that didnt work?

hold menu and the center button until the apple symbol comes up. it should reboot the ipod.

First of all turn ur iPod off by holding down the play button and then locking. Then, click the lock button back and forth four or five times and put back to unlock position. Then simultaneously hold down the middle (select) button and the play button for about 10seconds. The apple sign should then appear on ur screen. This means ur iPod has been reset. None of ur songs will be lost and it should definately work.

if you use linewire. The songs wont play cause they are in mp3 format. You need to use Itunes to be able to convert the music from mp3 to mp4. I know some people who did the same and the ipod didn't play the music because of it. Also, since it doesn't do anything from ur screen, it seem that it might be frozen. Look at the manual and it tells you what to do. i think its the middle button and the play one, hold them for like five seconds and then it re-starts itself.

The only time my iPod froze was changing between songs. Because I clicked >> button to fast and it got stuck halfway but after I let it sit it unfroze. I'm not sure what you mean with your problem.
