We have a iPod USB power adapter which we use to recharge our battery for the iPod when abroad.( replaces the need to recharge using the PC) I have recently been given a Samsung YP-Z5 as a present and would like to know if i can use the adapter to recharge the samsung mp3 player or do i have to purchase another adapter. Is the adapter for apple or iPod only or is that just 'apple ' being awkward?( i dont want to damage the new mp3 player)

this effects only my purchased songs. Some have always played on my ipod & itunes. Now however they have ALL stopped playing on my ipod..it just skips over them. Is this a bug? How can I fix it?

My stock Ipod buds have blown out. I'm using an old pair of Walkman head phones which are a pain as they have the rung that goes over the dome of your head. I just want the buds.

Any suggestions? I want really inexpensive (ie under $50)

Is it neccasary to have a separate amplifier if you have active speakers? If not why not?

What does active speakers mean?

I currently have a 6GB Mini, and want to upgrade to a Video MP3 - I have heard Creative produce a better product and wondering which way to go. Also - Do I need to change my music Library - to an Itunes - Creative alternative if I chose creative? Is it a hassel? How long are these things supposed to go without a battery charge? I think mine is only going for a bout 9 hours, but the the box says it's supposed to have 24 hours of play time!

Im trying to decide which "skullcandy" brand headphones to get off ebay; my first intention was just get the regular dj style headphones they offer for about 40$. However i keep seeing some that are similar but different cause they contain some vibrating subwoofer built in the headphones and an in-line bass amplifier for about 55$. I just wanted to know has anybody tried something like that or can just tell me what that means as far as listening to music; should i spend more to get the latter ones or do you think the regular are about as good cause im mainly gonna use them for my ipod. (p.s.-i do like want my music to sound good/rich and clarity is important to me but im not super nitpicky about a little louder bass)

Ok so I have an Ipod. The Regular ones that came out before anything else. Which means 20Gigs, non-color screen, and all that jazz. I have over 800 songs on it. I've had it since christmas, and it's worked great. But now ALL MY SONGS ARE GONE!!! for some reason i don't have songs on the ipod. They're on iTunes but when i turn on my ipod theres nothing! no music no nothing!! I'm trying the help and support site but it's not helping please!! Help me!

Ugh.
Okay.
I posted a question on the apple support forum and NO ONE has been able to help me.... so I figure i'll ask on here.

Well I was watching a movie on it etc etc. and the battery got low (nothing unusual). Well the little thing popped up and said "No battery power remains please connect iPod to power"
My mom was on the computer so I sat it down to wait for her to get off. I'm starting to think that was a bad idea.

I plugged it into my computer... and nothing happened. The iPod didn't turn on and didn't connect to my computer.
I know you're supposed to wait a few minutes so that it can power up and connect to your computer. It's been sitting here for a few hours. Nothing.

I checked my cord, i jiggled both ends and secured them in their ports. STILLLLLLL NOTHING. EXCEPT.. the iPod screen keeps flickering. Every few seconds it will flash on and off for like a millisecond.

I tried resetting it, and I can't restore it because it won't even connect to my computer.

Help!

I've had a Creative Microphoto for a while now and the headphone jack caved in on me, along with the headphone plug-in. I need to open up my Zen and take out the part that is stuck and figure out if I can still use this one instead of having to buy a new one. How do I open up the Microphoto?

when u hook it do u need to hav itunes open to get the songs trandfered? does it transfer byitself? do u need new version of itunes to get em transfering?and when its transferein wat does it say on ur ipod mine jus says Do Not Disconnect does tha count as transfering

I have lots of club music thats hard to find and ALL are cassette tapes. If theres a way to copy/transfer them to CD It would be such a relief to know. The thought of looseing them is hard to think about!!!! I wont accept it. So Please Help............Many thanks to all of you...........
