I am looking to buy an MP3 player and not sure what's best for the price. I just want one that will hold a pretty good amount of songs for a low price.

external hard drives are so much more reliable but if you want one for travel like to go jogging and crap then just get a light small one but get an external harddrive to cause ipods only last like a year anyway

it really depends on exactly how many songs you want to put on. if you want to have say 400 songs, i'd go with the fairly new zen m icro. the ipod nano is the most popular right now, but if you would like a stable MP3 player with about a 2-4 Gig memory capacity, and for a reasonable price as well, try looking up the Zen micro. i bought a nano a year ago, and im regretting it now that i found out about the Zen micro.
