when u hook it do u need to hav itunes open to get the songs trandfered? does it transfer byitself? do u need new version of itunes to get em transfering?and when its transferein wat does it say on ur ipod mine jus says Do Not Disconnect does tha count as transfering

when you hook up the ipod, itunes will automatically open up and start syncing. you dont need the newest version but it is good to upgrade when a new version is availible. and yes, all ipods say do not disconnect and that means that its transfering.

yeah u need to have itunes open for the songs to transfer; or just plug the ipod in and itunes will open automatically. and its supposed to say "do not disconnect"; that means its transferring

u do not need itunes open sometimes u will but thats if u change the settings...u can transfer music or it willl do it by yourself it depends if u change the settings like i said
