Cell Phones & Plans - December 2007

I own a cell phone company that doesn't require a credit check or contract. Those of you using Tracfone, Go Phone,Criket etc. would you mind telling me what you like and don't like about your service. This is not a pitch for my company, as I won't even share our company info. I am just doing research. Please be as detailed as you can. thank you in advance.

Hey. I have a cellphone that gets service from Verizon. For those of you who text, you know that in your outbox, once u send a message, there are a few different symbols that can appear near the top right side of the beginning of the text, i.e. a check or a little arrow thing. Well, how do you know if the person you've sent the text to has received it yet? More importanly, i'd like to know how you know if they've opened it and read it yet. Thanks.

I am always doing my texting to my boyfriend and we both have Verizon.... Thanks so much!!!

it doesnt matter a real lot buuut what would be a good phone? i've never personally owned a cell phone but i use my moms half the time. i really dont have much of a set budget so any price.

these don't matter but would be alright.
-speaker phone
-video (dont really need but would be cool)
-text of course lol
-flip phone. but yeah like with all of them, i don't need.


so any suggestions, URLs, or anything else would be great!

About two months back my parents bought a KrZr for my 14th birthday. Yesterday I left my phone on the school bus and didn't realize it till I got to my class. My phone hasn't been founf I tried calling like 20 times, the first 5 times it rang but went to the massage thing after that it went straight to the message thing. to make things worst I have a class trip costing $500 and the payment is dues next tuesday. I'm actually thinking of giving up going for a new phone. Good idea? Oh and how do I break the news to my parents?

Well I own a helio ocean and tried using youtube to hear music but the problem is that youtube mobile really really sucks and dosen't have any music videos so what I would like to know is If any one knows a website were you can stream music videos or just music for free? and is there a way to enter youtube without it being youtube mobile?

Someone has been prank phone calling me for the past 4 nights at various times in the night(like 3:30 in the morning). It's getting very annoying and creepy as the person knows my name and I am sure it's not someone I know. I've called the police but that was not helpful because they said that they couldn't do anything but file a report and that my phone company has to do the tracing. I called my phone company but because it's my cell phone and Verizon Wireless apparently does not have the tools to trace calls, there's nothing I can do. Also, the number that shows up when this person calls is not even a real number. I've tried calling it back but every time I do , I get the "This call cannot be completed as dialed." I really want this to stop without having to change my number. Any ideas?

Hello. I just got a cell phone on tuesday. I took great pictures with it and I would like to know if you can get them onto the computer?
Also is AIM on the phone 10 cents per time you sign on?
How much are ringtones?
How much is texting? How do you text someone.

I was going to meet with a friend on Saturday around 7pm and I called him about 5 times. Each time, the phone was ringing maybe twice and the automated message would come out.

I was finally able to call him after a couple of hours, and he said his phone did NOT ring and the number didn't appear as missed calls either. He was assuming maybe it didn't work because it was during the peak hours people use their phones a lot.

Is this possible to happen? If so, what if I leave either a voice or text message? In this case, would it go though successfully?
