I lost my cell phone. How do I tell my parents?

About two months back my parents bought a KrZr for my 14th birthday. Yesterday I left my phone on the school bus and didn't realize it till I got to my class. My phone hasn't been founf I tried calling like 20 times, the first 5 times it rang but went to the massage thing after that it went straight to the message thing. to make things worst I have a class trip costing $500 and the payment is dues next tuesday. I'm actually thinking of giving up going for a new phone. Good idea? Oh and how do I break the news to my parents?

if you didn't get what i said, the school trip is $500 but that doesn't mean im gonna get a $500 phone.

First off, if you have a warranty or insurance, you can get it replaced by going and talking to the store employee where you got it from. Secondly, I think it would be wise to tell your parents anyways. It was just a little mistake and if your mature enough to tell them the truth I think it will go a long way. You need to get your other phone deactivated. Someone could take it and run up them bill, get all your personal contacts and info of the phone that you have stored up, etc. So go tell the truth! Use 500$ for a phone? And you're fourteen? That's way too much money for a young person to spend on a phone. Try those cheap 50$ ones that come in sets, like the "buy 1 get 3 free" deals.

Just tell your parents. They're going to find out sooner or later. Best to do it early. Just explain to them the situation and your suggestion on using some money to buy a new one.

It's really important to report the loss the the phone company and get the account deactivated right away. Whoever has it can run up HUGE bills and the cell phone companies do not refund those charges.

Just straight up tell your parents that you lost your phone. People make mistakes, its a part of life. Regarding the trip, if thats the sacrifice you have to make that will make you learn from this mistake, then so be it. If people don't learn the hard way, they never learn at all.

you need to tell them quickly before someone starts making calls to Mexico and India and rack up a $25,000 phone bill on you!!!
if nothing else call the cell company and tell them yourself your phone has gone missing and while your not ready to cancel service you want your number flagged!

you go to your school and call the cell if it rang in the school driver it mean he has it and if it didn't ring try some where else
so if you couldn't find it any where portend that you are so mad that you are about to brake th wall so tell them and say i think that some one stole it so they are not gone to think that you are

tell them right away so that they can suspend your account.. you dont want to have mysterious calls on there.. and then take whatever punishment they have (could be nothing at all) and if they see you handling it like an adult they will probably get you a new one..

It's $5 bucks for the insurance on cell phones. If your parents didn't get it their morons and deserve to have to buy you another one.

I'm willing to bet they got the insurance so just tell them and go get a new one.
