Went to gym one morning and had my cellphone stolen out of my locker. We already shut off the plan and everything, but how can I track it down and find it?

Now that you've told them your phone was stolen you can't track the calls. I had my Motorola Q stolen and I deliberately left the service on and checked the minutes used every night for about a week. One of the numbers I found used was a pizza place near the campus I lost the phone. And I let law enforcement handle the rest since I couldn't get the address the pizza was ordered and delivered to.

You can call back to ask if your phone's ESN (the serial number) has been swapped or had attempts for a swap. Call local stores where your phone is sold and ask if anyone has had a customer try to re-activate that particular ESN. Some reps overlook that a phone is stolen if that message appears on their computer monitor.

Best of luck to you,
Justin

If you still have the package, you should have the serial number of the phone. Go back to the store you bought it from, then they can do something to block that person from using your phone. You may never be able to recover the phone if someone has taken it but at least it will be useless to them.

you should be able to call the company and they might be able to find it because most phones have a GPS location system built in, unless you had the GPS disabled, but i'm not real sure beacause you've already cancelled the plan
