I bought a cell phone for my teen and before we got home she had gotten a text from an internet dating service. Then a few days later a text from someone none of us know. I would love to be able to have her phone enabled so that she could neither send or receive texts.

You know how people buy sidekicks and buy a t-mobile pre paid card, the ones that you can use for like 30 days and you can use like aim and internet for 30 days till it expires. Can i buy instead of a Sidekick, like an unlocked treo and put that prepaid t-mobile sim card in and use it for 30 days so i can go like online and chat on aim? Or does it only have to be a sidekick?

I understand that this is a safety precaution so that everyone knows the call is recorded but i just don't care about that for me there are more clever ways to achieve that than a stupid beep every 15 seconds or so!!!

hey guys i wanna know how to make free calls from UK mobile to India. i am using O2 nd till now i was using 0844 to make calls nd tht number was free from the tariff tht i had but from 27th spet O2 is gonna start charging for all 0844 numbers.

is there any other way to make free calls using my inclusive minutes. please let me know

I Like the firefly and im getting it for christmas or if i have enough money but i dont know how many ppl you can call! it says people can call you from the phonebook and blocks the ones that arent, but to make sure if you go to that contact, if you press yes will it let you call them and does it come with a charger? or is there no charger!! I have Sprint, If I call someone on the Sprint network would the minutes be free?

I know that Sprint has a 'mobile to mobile' plan for $5.. but if I don't PAY for the plan, but the person who i'm calling DOES.. would the minutes be free? or would they still count since I don't have the service, and the person I am does?

i got my verizon phone, i go to link it with my computer via bluetooth so i can send some ringtones to it, and then it gives me an error message, i call their customer service, and they explian to me that i can link my phone to my computer but i cannot send files to it because verizon stops you from doing that, WTF would i want to link my phone to my computer for if i cannot send files to it.
i want to send ringtones to my phone and i dam well aint paying 3 bucks a ringtone from verizon's ringtone store. i want to get ringtones on my phone by transfering the files from my computer any body know a way around verizons big scam file transfer block.

I have a Verizon trac phone which I really like, no bills, no contract I just by a refill card when I run out of minutes. My question is since I love football can I get NFL score alerts on this type of phone. Does anyone do this and please dont tell me to call verizon. Thanks

have had at&t for 2 years with a family plan and am ready to upgrade phones but they only offer free phones for new customers. what is the best way to go about getting new phones inexpensively without changing carriers? our phones have bitten the dust and none of the sites and stores i've checked offer any good deals.
