Cell Phones & Plans - February 2007

Last night I bought a 20$ Top up card from the store, came home tried it out, after trying about 5 times I called a live adviser and they tried it, however the woman said there was some unknown error on the card and it could not be used.

Can I bring it back to the store for a refund or new one??

I am looking at getting a new cell. The phones I have narrowed down to are these.
Lg VX8300 $0.00
Lg VX8600 $50.00
Lg Choclate $75.00
The Lg's are with Verizon with whom I get a better company discount. I have never had Verizon service so I do not know how it compares to Cingular. The other phones are with Cingular who I presently have service with. These are the phones.
Sony Ericisson W810i $50.00
Sony Ericisson W300i $0.00
Which phone and service would be better?
I am trying to stay with in the $0-75.00 price range. So any other phone suggestions not listed would also be appreciated.

took my sons phone back to Tmobile the other day only had it a month wouldnt switch off told would need all the phone stuff box ect and receipt asked if they could look it up on sales record told wont do anything without original receipt
went away found everthing and receipt
went back to shop gave in everthing had box and all stuff apart from phone and charger given back to me !
manager opened it up took battery out and said its been in water white sticker is pink wont get fixed
i said not been in water said he will send it but wont get repaired
most unhelpfull staff ive come across as anyone with wet hands who removes the battery will trigger this sticker as its not actually inside the phone
i said to him when they open it up properly they will see its not been in water he just dismissed this and turned away and got the girl to deal with us
has anyone else experianced this type of service from Tmobile
i certainly wont use these again as they show no customer service

I've a Nokia N73 - and I've noticed today that I don't get any voice from the handset - only when I go to loud speaker mode. I've recently been using a bluetooth ear peice which has worked fine.
I've also noticed that when I dial a number the screen displays 'Note Active Diverts'

Any suggestions how I get the handset audio back?

I have added some speed dial numbers to my sony ericsson k800i phone but when I hold down a number it takes me to my address book and the first letter of that particular number. Where do you actually tell the phone to do speed dial as the manual is the finest piece of pointless cr*p I've seen in a long time!

I am a T-mobile customer right now in an individual plan. My contract ended in January and now I want to get enrolled in a family plan by Cingular through Wirefly.com. I have decided the plans and phones also and they are also giving me an option to keep the same number. My question is when should I deactivate the old cellphone? Should I do it right now or should I place an order on wirefly, wait till I receive two new phones and then call T-mobile to deactivate the old phone? When I called Wirefly, they asked me to deactivate the old phone after my 2 new phones are activated. I was wondering how can my 2 phones are activated without selecting phone numbers for them. If I am keeping the same number for my new cellphone and if I don't deactivate the old cell phone how can my new phone be activated with the old number? I also wanted to know if after deactivating my old cellphone, do I have to pay bill for the whole month even if I deactivate it in the middle of the month? Please guide.

I'm trying to set up a computer network for my electric company, but I don't know what to do. I have all the computers set up. I ran the Ethernet wire from each computer to my where my WAN comes into the building. I have 15 computers total. I was hoping that the Switch can be used as some sort of a router??? Can this be odn and if it can how????
