Last night I bought a 20$ Top up card from the store, came home tried it out, after trying about 5 times I called a live adviser and they tried it, however the woman said there was some unknown error on the card and it could not be used.
Can I bring it back to the store for a refund or new one??

my son had the same problem he had to take battery out for a few mins and put it back in and try again i hope this works for you ,about taking it back to the store you might want to find your reciept and try find someone at the store that can maybe try to load the card on your phone so they can see it dont work or a least call the card in so they can see its not been used ,i work at a store and so many people bring them back that we have a person that does just that it takes time but its all about customer service , some people actually use them and want their money back thats why stores dont like taking them back ,but i have noticed in the pass 4 mounths that we get more and more back if they dont want to take it back call the # on the back of the card and insist they issue you another it takes time i know but they are the only one that knows it not be used i wouldnt buy another card from this place lots of times employees load them into there phones ,sad i know ,now we have a sign out sheet everytime we sale one we know who sold it and to whom , good luck .

If you talked to a live sales rep and they said there was an error on the card then yes, take it back and they will or should return it. Just let them know that the card will not read. To avoid a fight with the clerk you should buy you phone cards from Wal-mart or a store like that. I own a virgin too and I have had that trouble once before. I bought the card at 7 11 and they really made a stink about the card but finally gave me a new one. Good Luck
