A friend of mine gave me a Nortel BayStack 70-24T Switch and I wanted to know what it is used for?

I'm trying to set up a computer network for my electric company, but I don't know what to do. I have all the computers set up. I ran the Ethernet wire from each computer to my where my WAN comes into the building. I have 15 computers total. I was hoping that the Switch can be used as some sort of a router??? Can this be odn and if it can how????

This product has been discontinued so there is no more support by nortel. It was used in New Zealand and the republic of China. Read up on this website...
