I am using a Windows XP Professional SE. While trying to burn CD I get a "WRITE ERROR" message at the late end of the burning process. I have tried cleaning the lense and have also tried burning the CD at lower speed. After the burning is 99% complete the WRITE ERROR message pops up. I have tried using both Nero and Windows writing programe. I dont have any problem with reading the CD or DVD. While the CD burning fails, some of the data still gets burned on the blank disk out of which only a few percent of the data is usable.

Windows + Pause/Break key (System Properties > System Restore tab) Isnt this tab supposed to have a link to the dialog box that shows "Restore my computer to an earlier point in time / Create a Restore point" . To reach this dialog box you need to navigate to Start > Programs> Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. WHY? Shouldnt there be a link in the System Restore tab of the System Properties dialog box itself? If not, why have a System Restore tab itself in the first place? And while I can "adjust" the disk space allocated for system restore on each drive why there is no facility to create a "cut off" date that is, delete all restore points before this date and free up the space occupied for use with other better softwares?

Krypto95 was a neat program I found in the past that encodes and decodes whatever you want for privacy using any keyword you choose. It was a freeware program.
