Hi there, I recently re-installed XP,now i can no longer watch dvd's. Can anyone recommend what software i need?(preferably freeware)

Cant quite under stand how come you cant play dvds,in xp, as soon as you insert the dvd it should play automatically through windows player,i just received an up date beta 2 for player 11, you should try windows home page,to see if you need any relevant updates

Actually go and download the latest version of Microsoft media player ( Ithink it is 10)
It plays everything I have thrown at it on DVD or CD.
Best part....It's free
