In Web designing are "_vti_cnf" & "_vti_pvt" directories are compulsory in ftp?

Currently i m doing BSc-IT, Compita's Network+ and CCNA. I want the best of both worlds of Networking and software programming. I have keen interest in both networking and software programming. Plus i want to learn the engineering; like to build, design and develop robots and intelligent machine. I want to do everything at my own. I mean, design a machine, develop its software and hardware, and make it full and final an intelligent working machine or robot. Plz guide me that how do i plan my career.
Presently i m in UK. I m doing Comptia's N+ here, which leads to CCNA. In india i m doing B.Sc.-IT on correspondence basis. I would finish my B.Sc-IT in October this year.

i;m trying to remove photoshop from my comp and i go to add/remove program.
i click it and it says: unable to locate the instillation log file C:/program files/Adobe/Photoshop 7.0/unsist.isu.
unistillation will not continue.
how do i get rid of it?

Hi! I made a flash site for my brother. He recently bought a Yahoo site, and got the premium page builder. My question is about how can I upload the flash site into the net... Do i use the file manager? Do i need to use html? or does the site builder has a special option to embed this?
