Here's the deal... we have a HUGE database of items (over 200K) that are displayed maybe 10 at a time. What I want is the FIRST time (in a 24 hour period) that someone goes to a particular page (say.. www.somesite.com/catalog/shirts_page_1.php), it should hit the database for the results and save it on the machine as a formatted HTML file. Then the next time that anyone goes to that page (within 24 hours), it simply loads the static HTML page instead of re-querying the database.
I know there are "Template Engines" out there like Smarty that do something SIMILAR, but not exactly. Please advise if you've heard of anything like this.

Thank you.

It looks great in Firefox, and terrible in Internet Explorer. Right now, I can get one to look good. If I change any of the command lines it effects one positively and the other gets messed up.

Is there a way to say make firefox read with say margin: -40px;
and not have that for internet explorer or something like that?

I'm a beginner learning HTML and CSS.

Besides the fact that IE is completely worthless, why is the table content being pushed to the left? Everything works fine in firefox. In internet explorer, the data is pushed to the left of the cell... you can see that it is formatted as if it is centered, but is actually resting on the left side!

Arrrgh!

I am creating a monthly payment calculator using Visual Basic 6 and I need a variable to represent the equation used to find the monthly interest. How do I declare my variable so that I can substitute it into the full equation for the payments.
I know that if I were using BASIC I would go
interest=(txtinterest.text * .01)/12)
and then substitute the variable interest into the whole equation, but this doesn't seem to work.
please help me...
