There are a few free downloads available at www.download.com, search for Borland its free.

There are lots more available, some are 30-day trials, so once you get the hang of it and like it you can buy it.. or two words (key gen).

http://www.microsoft.com Look for VC++ Express Edition, it's free. While you're there, if you need tutorials or samples, there are plenty on MSDN.
