Currently i m doing BSc-IT, Compita's Network+ and CCNA. I want the best of both worlds of Networking and software programming. I have keen interest in both networking and software programming. Plus i want to learn the engineering; like to build, design and develop robots and intelligent machine. I want to do everything at my own. I mean, design a machine, develop its software and hardware, and make it full and final an intelligent working machine or robot. Plz guide me that how do i plan my career.

Presently i m in UK. I m doing Comptia's N+ here, which leads to CCNA. In india i m doing B.Sc.-IT on correspondence basis. I would finish my B.Sc-IT in October this year.

could i go for engineering? if yes then what field of engineering i should choose? Mechanical? or what what do you say? I know that its a long term goal. Is there is any course is available in the universe which has the combination of all three networking, programming and engineering?

Thnx for ur answer satya. I would start it from very basic. To be being here in the UK, i saw the machines how they are working. They are very Basic to quite techy. But i can understand them that how those things are working. If you can see where i m standing, you can see that you can build basic machines easily without any degree. I just want to know more on the things so that i could have more knowledge about the things so that i can implement those things in the real world.

I don't think you can go to Engg. Degree..Na. Not bachelors. You may try for masters in the field of your interest. Mostly Masters in Computer science can get you where you want to be in the end. From your goals and ambitions i think your are being too far fetched. Be realistic.Go step by step. Do you really think someone will give you money for building machines and Programming on them as you want with your degrees? No right . then Start working on it by proving your calibre. "It's not wrong dream big but It sure is wrong to forget about them early" . Your degrees and Certificates can only get you to the doors of Opportunities, beyond that is what makes you a personality and a Character. If you have what it takes to be one .. no one can stop you ..degrees or no degrees..If you don't have it in you ...No one can help you either.

If you have the money to Build things yourself. ..I wonder what you are dong here asking such Questions ...So i don't thing that option is with you.

Good Luck ..

Hi,
I had go through your question,it seems like you r bit confused in the two feild {networking/software programming and engineering}.
Please dont be confused,
Do what your heart says, than do what your mind says.
first listen to your heart than listen to your mind,
This you have to decide friend that,
what your heart says and what your mind says.
I'll guide you how?
for eg :- If your heart says that you have to do engineering feild and your mind says that you have to do networking and software progarmming,
than please go ahead for engineering.
While doing this course please dont think about networking and software programming.
Complete the engineering course by scoring good percentage.
After finishing the course than u must have to gain some knowledge........
and for knowledge job is compulsory.
start doing part time job, and the remaining time you can go for the another feild ie:- networking and programming.
Till the time u finished this course you had gain some knowledge from the engineering job, and you are prepared for starting your buisness.
Adjust your time so that you can do both..........
Give half time to your buisness and and half time to your networking and software programming course..........
Always remember nothing is Impossible.........
All this you can do only if you are seriously really really interested in both the feild
GOOD LUCK.........
