hi..

I have a database with a primary key(Emp id).

I am having an insert form, display form, delete page form.

I want to validate the Employee id entered by the user in the insert form that means I want to check with the database, If it is already there in the database. I want to give an alert message when I try to submit the form.

'id 'is a primary key for that table.
How can I check the duplicate entry for Employee id while submitting the form?

I want to make a myspace webpage from scratch with my own layout design. I have photoshop CS2, I dont have dream weaver, Im good at graphic design but not to much in web design. I dont want to pay one of those companies to do it for me. Can somone help me?? is photoshop enough? or do I need dream weaver??

hi! i'm a new user to web designing and stuff and hit a major roadblock.

basically my site needs a database that can store info provided through forms filled in my users. After which, the user can look at the updated database.

i know for a fact that u can use mysql as the database, but how do you do the actual linking? Do i need other software such as Php/asp ???

I am planning to buy a new laptop. Currently I am using 2 business softwares in my system. One which deals in Accounts have VB at front end and MS Access at the back end. Other one have VB at the front end and SQL Server at the back end. And Windows OS i am using is XP Pro.
My question is will i be able to use these programs on my new system with Windows Vista OS.

I was wondering what an administrator would know about me as a member and a poster. I'm talking about a small phpBB message board. Do they have my IP address? There's a section where you can give a member a thumbs up or down, can they see how I voted? And can they see what areas I've viewed in the group? Any other information would also be welcome. I used divisions with a CSS property of positioning and the DIVS are all over the place. When I did manual programming and changed everything to appear as it comes in the code (nested and inline, using float properties), everything was fine for firefox, but not IE. How can I fix either one?

I know how to do a browser redirect, but I don't want to make two sites.
