The best sites are probably CinemaNow or MovieLink, and it's not that great. iTunes is the same way - only good if they have the movie you want, but they probably don't. It will be a few years yet before there is a solid, reliable movie download service that has a filled-out catalog. Until then, use torrents or Netflix.

if you don't mind paying, movielink.com is a great site. anywhere from $1 to 5$ for a movie, depending on how recent it is. They got all the latest stuff on dvd. the catch is, you can keep the movie on your hard drive for 30 days tops, or for 24 hours after you play it. I use it all the time. the quality, it's no different than watching a dvd on your computer.

Well since you don't mind buying I would reccomend getting I tunes 7. You can get all the new hit movies, like the Guardian with Ashton Kutcher. I would also reccomend it becuase it dosen't cost too much, and you can watch the movies over and over again. I agree with you on the fact that lime wire is stupid, and cheap. Good luck, even if you don't like my answer!
