I am planning to buy a new laptop. Currently I am using 2 business softwares in my system. One which deals in Accounts have VB at front end and MS Access at the back end. Other one have VB at the front end and SQL Server at the back end. And Windows OS i am using is XP Pro.
My question is will i be able to use these programs on my new system with Windows Vista OS.

Well the answer is MAYBE!

If these were well written and don't violate any of Vista's new requirements they probably will work just fine. If they have any code which might violate the new UAC they probably wont

The only real answer is to try them on visita.

No you have to buy copies of visual studio ,etc
however you can copy the database from one machine to another machine
