If I want my links to open up little windows but then I want them to know that they can close it... that they haven't gone to a new page... they just close the little window when they are done with it...
also - does it work the same on a Mac? will mac browsers keep multiple windows open at the same time?

I am trying to add a javascript to my page, the sort of javascript where it will display a fixed tooltip, on mousing over an image.
The user has to be able to view the tooltip, and there will be links displayed in it for them to click, so, it shouldnt dissapear when they go to click them. , which is what happened before.

Firstly, i am having trouble connecting the javascript to the images, as the images have no link, and just have the tooltip.

Secondly, the user moves mouse over the image, and then tries to click a link in the tooltip, and it vanished.

And finally, i want the tooltip to appear next to the image, and not miles away on the page.

If anyone can help me with my javascript issues i would be very grateful!

Also, i have very little knowledge of inserting scripts, so i will need to have a lot of explaination about how to insert the script.

So I've just created a webpage in ImageReady CS2 that has a bunch of rollover states. The problem I have is that I'm uploading the slices to photobucket, and I need to update all of the code that ImageReady created automatically to reflect the correct file paths (because I'm not uploading the images and the HTML to a single server as they intend.) It would take me ages to go through and change all of the thousands of lines of code manually... is there a way I can get ImageReady to generate the HTML with the proper file paths for the images?

I need to duplicate/replicate just one html webpage about 1,000+ times but have it add a unique affiliate url to each one. (A different affiliate link to each one).

I checked out affiliate programs and they don't have what I need.
I also checked out affiliate tracking software, not what I need.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I know absolutely nothing about animating flash and I need to create a short presentation before the 26th Feb!

I need to animate this: A 3D view of a house being built up with house-panels being clipped onto eachother.
The animation should be 3 minutes (if not less).

I will supply you with the pictures of house panel

I'm sure if you're acquainted with Flash & Animation you can be of assistance...

Hello ,

I have wrote a very long c++ program that runs perfect when run it the first time. But at the end of it I ask the user if they want to run again. If they hit 'y' then it will call the main() function and run again. The problem is the program will redirect the user to my error() function because all the variables that the user choose the first time the program was ran are still being stored. Is there anyway I can flush all the vars used the first time , as if the program was being ran for the first time. Thanks , Chris

I installed Internet Explorer 7 awhile back and never had any problems with it until just the other day when windows decided to run it's lovely updates and now everytime I attempt to get on the internet an error page pops up. The only way I can access the internet is through safe mode. Help! If I remove IE 7 will I be able to use the internet? And what is another browser I can use that is more reliable than IE 7?

I new to web design, So I need to know How to use the same layout for all my webpages. I've tried the hard way by copy and pasting the codes on the various pages, but Its hard when you update one page, then you have to do the same to all the other layouts too. I've heard of cgi scripts that I can use for the header, navigation and footer so That it appears on all the pages. But I got no idea where to look

does anybody know the code to make a roomba follow a wall. we are using a Java based program. the code to make the roomba go is roombacomm.drive([speed],[radius]). we are trying to get the roomba to follow a wall, either left or right, to get out of a maze.

some other samples of our code:

But when this code is run it acts like it is in text. If the ans = 10+0+10 result 10010

Please help me with a problem I have had for only a couple of weeks and it is becoming very frustrating. Everytime I visit a site that requires Flash, I am instructed to download it but once I do, the message comes back that I made a successful download, however I am still not able to see anything with Flash so I am provided yet another link to download the Flash all over again to no avail.

I tried uninstalling my Adobe Flash twice and then reinstalling it, but it still won't show up on my computer. It didn't bother me much in the past but lately it seems that more than 75% of the websites have some form of Flash, only I'm no longer able to view them but just a few months ago I had no problem viewing Flash at all so I have to wonder if something has hijacked my (XP)operating system.

Today I received an important tutorial that I am unable to view due to this problem. I have Javascritping on my PC, so I don't think there is a problem there. Please someone help to resolve this.

In HTML, is there a way to create a list

and have a different JPG file
as the background for each 'row'.

I can use to add an image to the row, but not as a background
I don't really want to resort to a seperate
for each row.
