Yes Vijay, Almost all e-books you can save on your computer. The only e-books you can save are oonline helps. These are bunch of html pages, so you can not download it easily. (However there are programs which allows you to download all the links from one link).
Normally the e-books are in .pdf, .doc, .chm or .lit forms. These you can certainly save on your computer and use proper software to read them. Thus you can read them offline.
