as PSP X to use to manipulate photos, pictures,graphics ect. ?? I can't afford to spend the money on PSP just for something I don't use all the time.

Gimp works just as well, in fact has even more features and it is 100% free.

Photoshop is MUCH better but far from FREE unless you are into piracy ;)
GIMP is a lot like Photoshop in many ways, and is FREE

Go to downloads.com and take a look at their top ten downloads, last I checked that had a free one there that was easy to use and had some good reviews.

Photoshop is the best, however if you want free use GIMP.
