I use Windows XP, Microsoft, and everytime I try to go to a webpage, I get redirected back to my desktop menu. Is there something I can do to fix it? Any advice would be appreciated.

i know that java runs with virtual machine and javascript runs in a web browser but i want to know how big the source code of internet explorer would be? because it is capable of executing html,dhtml and all other languages.
while java developement kit(JDK) runs only java programes . So is internet explorer smarter than any other compiler? and why core java is more popular than javascript ? I find javascript very easy to learn than core java.

Just wondering about emulation if you're running linux and lets say you still like games published for microsaoft. How adaptive is the emulation?

I am using some mouse over and mouse down events on a webpage and right now it only works in internet explorer?

Are mouseover and mousedown events not supported by other browsers? In not is there something similar?

And when you mouseover the picture the person's name comes up under their photo. And when you click the photo their bio information loads off to the left.

Also anyone know how to change the scrollbar colours in browsers other than ie?

Ok heres the deal. I've created a website, and added a side bar for navigation, but I added it into the regular space and not into frames. I can't put text or anything along the right side of the navigation, it automatically puts it beneath it. How can I fix the problem? When I put in the frames HTML code it didn't even bother to change anything, so what can I do?

Go here MY SITE. Thats the site i'm working on.

Can you help straighten out this mess. Do I even need m,n? I am working on a program for school and I just don't get it. The problem is if someone entered the # 2 this would give the #,s between 10 and 99...if 3 was entered 100 and 999 Thanks for any help.
This is the part I have at the top before the main function, I am pretty sure it's not supposed to be separated but I am confused.

how do I call this in my main function or when you use predefined functions do you not write a function at the end of the main function?

I get people sending me HTML files thinking they are doing me a favor. I don't get it; any text can be copied and pasted into a website. Why do people turn text into an HTML doc? My guess is they think if they do this people will think they are more knowledgeable about the Internet, but turning word docs into html adds unnecessary code. Am I missing something? Aren’t they taking an unnecessary step?

I want to create a table named "user" in mysql with the follwing command :

I have created a web page in illustrator and photoshop and saved for web which gives me an html file. I then name this file index.html and upload it to the address using an ftp client. If i go onto the web address it just comes up with a question mark where the page should be. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all,

I have created a form in html (Dreamweaver) and have connected it to database.
There is a submit button in form and having some problem in redirecting the page.
I want, when user clicks on “Submit” button the page should redirect to confirmation page.
Example: “Your information is saved in our database.”

How can I do this in Html or in javascript?
