I have created a web page in illustrator and photoshop and saved for web which gives me an html file. I then name this file index.html and upload it to the address using an ftp client. If i go onto the web address it just comes up with a question mark where the page should be. What am I doing wrong?

If you've "created a web page in illustrator and photoshop", it sounds like what you've done is made some graphics which you want to include in the web page.

The HTML file will probably just be a very simple file which refers to the graphics you made in Illustrator and Photoshop. You will still need to upload the actual graphics to the web server.

Note that if you create a whole page that's just a graphic, it will be very large and will take a long time to download, especially for non-broadband users. Illustrator and Photoshop aren't really the tools to use for creating pages - you want something like Dreamweaver (or whatever the Mac equivalent is) instead.

Without seeing all the settings you have entered it is difficult to see why the page is not uploading. Check your fields for the FTP client and that you have set the correct folder on the server to upload your file to (often public_html or similar).

I had a similar subject a year in the past, you're able to inform you digital camera to output to print and not laptop. that is interior the cameras menu. The utility that got here which incorporate your digital camera isn't needed on mac. it is so elementary as that, different determination is to purchase a card reader (in case you nevertheless use compact flash enjoying cards). in any different case the mac could have a SD card reader if that is extra moderen than 2009.
