I keep getting an error on this code. My compiler seems not to like the using System.Windows.Forms. Why?

My computer came with Microsoft Works Task Launcher. I'm not comfortable just poking around my PC trying to learn stuff.

I run a small business that requires that I service my customers on monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually. How can I program their names/phone numbers so that it will automatically prompt? Or do I need to invest in something like ACT?

I've used Yahoo! email to remind me of appointments but I have to keep re-entering the info.

I am thinking of learning these things in these coming winter holidays,.. I kind of know Java... and little Qbasic.. so think that wouldn't be so tough..

but i just wondering if there's anywhere on the internet where .. i can apply whatever i would learn from html codes..

like i tried to learn in summers... but the only thing i know where messages can be posted is hotmail spaces..

but see, they dunn provide that much freedom i tried to put my applets there... but they didn't allow me.. and then i think neither can work much with html codes..


so if there's any other place where i can post the applets.. and put big html codes.. that i am hoping to learn?

My wife is about to be made redundant.She has a small business which has potential which I would like to promote via a website.I'm about to purchase Dreamweaver 8 as I'm told its the best.Can a novice build a decent website with Dreamweaver or is it too difficult as my neighbour says.Does anybody know a more user friendly package or should I stay with Dream weaver(I've not bought it yet so I don't know how difficult it may be ).I would be greatful for Yahoo subscribers advice. Using Frontpage, I created a banner that I saved as a jpeg. I inserted the banner into my page that I am working on. When I go to view the page the banner does not appear but instead is a red x image placeholder. The banner does show to be saved in the local and remote file. How can I correct this problem? Thanks.

I recently was notified that my cousin was on cbs. He almost died from antibiotics that was given to him for bronchitis after he got home from 13 months in Iraq. I can go to their web cite and view the video. What I am asking how can I record that video and put it on a dvd so my grandma who doesn't have a pc can see this?

I have this script and it shows feeds from my site. It works and shows the item title and description, I was wondering how to make it so the description of the item links to a page? The title links fine but not the description.

Any suggestions? Is this possible? Ive only ever seen the titles of feeds link.

For 6 months now I have been learning how to make a website in the hopes to make some money online to support a family one day (A dream).
I have very little income & little time to offer at the moment with work & studies but would like to hear your thoughts that could help me reach my star? My site Oceans wardrobe, the site is not complete & updates are in process to rectify a number of obvious corrections. Thank you for the help!

1) How do I become more successful & popular with search engines like yahoo & very a difficult search engine like Google whom are very fussy with code?
2) What do people look for in a site like mine?
3) What development methods are best to make a website easy to updatable when a change needs to be made?
A) Flash with XML, if so should I need to learn something like AJAX or XSL etc. to manage my content & products?
B) Stick to XHTML/PHP with Flash effects & XML for to managing my content & products?
C) Maybe you have a better method to offer?

hi my program is i have a text box and a button. when the user clicks it the content af the text box stored in str "String" type must be writen in a file. the user must select the drive and the name.(as open dialogbox in ms word) and after restating the program & clicking another botton open he must be abel to view his text in the same text box. pls help me with the code for writing the file and reading it. I need to make a script where when executed it does a few things
1. Remove 4 programs from add/remove programs
2. changes users permissions
3. installs office(all have same key)
