How can I prompt appointments to appear regularly on my PC?

My computer came with Microsoft Works Task Launcher. I'm not comfortable just poking around my PC trying to learn stuff.

I run a small business that requires that I service my customers on monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually. How can I program their names/phone numbers so that it will automatically prompt? Or do I need to invest in something like ACT?

I've used Yahoo! email to remind me of appointments but I have to keep re-entering the info.

What about the Calendar in Outlook 2003?
If you do not have MS Office and don't want to spend the bucks in it... go to www.mozilla.org and you can download a free application that does the same.
