Using Frontpage, I created a banner that I saved as a jpeg. I inserted the banner into my page that I am working on. When I go to view the page the banner does not appear but instead is a red x image placeholder. The banner does show to be saved in the local and remote file. How can I correct this problem? Thanks.

If you are publishing up to a site, make sure your links are relative and not absolute. An example would be src="images/myimg.jpg' rather than src="C:\My Documents\My Pics\etc....

Frontpage tends to default to absolute and not relative so you may have to edit your links in the code to correct this.

make sure that the banner is in the same folder, or if not, and you can't be bothered to move it, type in the whole directory eg:
C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\My Documents\banner.jpg
you can find out the directory by right clicking on the banner, choosing properties and highlighting the 'Location:' bit. copy (Ctrl+C) and paste it into the html part of the frontpage document. if ur using the normal view though, you should just be able to import the image, making what ive just said irrelevant...
hmm
hope this helps...

This is a ordinary obstacle. Make certain you store the snap shots at any time when you store your paintings. A conversation field might seem and ensure you decide on saveoverwrite. The records will likely be stored within the listing of your website as in 'XXXX_files' MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THIS FOLDER WITH YOU WHENEVER YOU MOVE IT. If via any danger the images nonetheless don't show, open up frontpage and relocate the records from the 'XXXX_files' folder. Hope this helped! P.S: in case you discover this usefull, please mark me because the excellent reply. Thanks!
