You should visit www.webmonkey.com.
I love that site and it's the perfect way to get started. When you're ready to get a little (or a lot) more advanced they have everything and can point you in the right direction if they don't have what you're looking for.

free, web page design, software + tutorials,

write it like i have done there is plenty out there
