I just down loaded Internet Exployer7.I am now getting the following error message when my computer starts up "The precedure point Get Process image file W could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL" Need some help in solving this one. Think it might be something with smart bridge and a old file there--Can't find to fix. I am not the best with computers.Thanks

ok so i was online, and this screen poped saying that the computer needed to be updated. So i clicked yes, and restarted my computer. Well every thing is the same except the top of my tool bar. I think thats what its called.

and i really dont like it. Its all funky, and bothers me.
It used to be like...how can i explain this.
ok at the very top it said "File Edit View Favorites Tools Help"
and then it had the address bar.
and after that it had the yahoo search bar.
and then at the bottom, above the bar that has the programs running was a bar that was green and would say how much the page has loaded.

and now it has this blue stuff that i dont like.
please can someone help.

How do i get into dos before windows loads up? i need to change the administrator password or add new user before windows loads. there is an old administrator password on that i cant remember and hopefully if i can get into dos ill be able to change it.

Certain things especially last visited sites, can you stop it from popping up when you go to search engines? I dont have anything bad or things to hide but I dont want this person to see anything about me on the computer.

A friend of mine has an older computer with windows 98 installed. It had been packed away for about a year. When she unpacked it and set it up, it worked fine for a few weeks, but now she gets the black screen that says "error in disk c" abort/retry. whats the deal?

I've changed my password on my laptop and now I can't log in, the my "password hint" wont' work. Does anyone know how I can log in to my account? I don't have a password recovery program. (I guess I shouldn't try doing things that require baisic memory when I'm only functioning on 1 hour of sleep. Oh yeah I'm on a friend's computer )

I cannot figure out hot to do it. I went to the edit in the left hand corner but I cant click the inbox or the # 800 so there is no way to delete it that way. My friend showed me along time ago and I didnt right it down and what a pain in the butt it will be if I have to check every page and delete like that. It will take too long. I know there is a way.

This Steorn company from Ireland claims they have discovered free energy, and with their technology can power everything for free. They invited the scientific community to clarify their results, and study them, and say they won't release the information on how it works until the end of 2007. My boss uses a dos based program and would press shift+print Screen to make it print the text on the old dos-only system, now he, refusing to update, wants to print the text only from the dos program running in windows, with out printing the whole screen as a graphic only the text. What should I tell him?

can you connect a windows 98 computer to a windows XP with a usb cord, to get photo's off the old computer?

I have no internet on old computer, so i cannot just e-mail the photos
I have also tried floppy's, but the XP doesn't show the pictures
