I have an apple mac at present but I'm not to happy with it, there are many restrictions to what can be downloaded etc. It is a costly business to and finding mac dealers close to where I live is a nightmare.......

usually i shutdown my computer and dosen't switch off
the main power supply.
it remains off untill i press the power switch of my
computer to start my computer.
But from few days my computer turns on autometically
as soon as my telephone rings.my phone is connected to
my computer . what is the reason & how i will resolve
this problem

Transfering windows xp to another machine ,it will be at the same isp address ,and i have the disc will i have no bother ,is it prudent ot contact microsft and get some advice or just go through the installation sequence and validate it when i go on line.

Was wondering if anyone who has a HP computer of any kind is actually happy with it?

I've been a computer tech for years and have heard people complain about them... and found unbelievable parts such as old PC100 RAM in newer systems brought for upgrades. I recently received a free, brand new in the package, HP motherboard from someone who thought they would build a system, then decided to just buy a new, complete system.

I built the P4 motherboard into a system to watch movies on and can't believe it won't play backed up movies or DVDs on a 50x CDROM or DVD/CDRW drive even with 512RAM, and a 128MB Radeon AGP4/8 9500Pro card without 'skipping' or pausing... even an old Gateway PII with just a PCI Pny GF4 64MB card will play movies. DMA, ASPI, everything checks out and even did a complete reinstall to make sure there wasn't an install error that wasn't showing up. Anyone happy with their HP? At all?

im using nero to burn the movie files but i cannot able to burn it because the movie files i downloaded is more than 700MB and my problem is the CDROM im using is only 700MB.

How do I replace all the server hard disks?
I have this problem of space with the HDD on the server. I have 3x36 GB right now (RAID 5), and I am planning to upgrade to 3x300 GB (RAID 5) and use it as a file server. I will be deploying a backup and archive server for the same but that's a different story.

What I am looking at some kind of solution that I can easily remove the old hard disks and plug in the new one all the data software and settings are on the new hard disks. And the server runs on Windows 2003 standard server.

Guys your input will be a real help to me...
