I don't know what program you're using to print out your card, but maybe we can at least determine if the problem is with that specific program, or some hardware or printer driver problem.

A small checklist:
Have you checked your printer properties?
Your program should have an option to view/set your printer properties before you start printing.
Is everything okay?

Try unplugging the printer cable, and turning off the printer. Restore everything. and try printing again. Is the printer working okay? The software which came with your printer should have an option to print a test page, so try that.

Are your ink levels okay? The software which comes with your printer might have the ability to check the ink levels in your printer. Check your printer's help files and manual if you're not sure.

Try running another program to see if you're not out of black ink and to see if the problem isn't with the program you're using for making the card. Try printing a text file, or run the Windows Paint program and create a small, black rectangle that you can try printing out.

If you still can't print, it may be that the nozzles for your black ink cartridge is clogged. Your manual and your printer program's help files should provide troubleshooting information and information for cleaning the ink cartridge. You can also try going to your printer manufacturer's web site.

NEW---------
Your printer works fine when you're using another program? Well, then I think you should tell people what program you are using to make your card. I most likely do not have the program that you're using, so I can't help you.
(I wish you explained this earlier.)
