I have a toshiba, i was told to stay away from hp. You want atleast 512mb of ram, and a decent size hard driver around 60 to 80gb or more to hold all your games. Oh ya and a graphics card to make those games look nice.

Get the Acer Aspire 5670. for $1400-1500 you get: 120 GB hardrive, 2 GB RAM. ATI X1400 graphix card (whoever i talk to is suprised to see one of those in a laptop.) it has intel duo core processor, bluetooth, wireless, and a 17in screen. But its not too heavy. oh it also has a camera and card reader.

dell's okay they set up my computer to dl and burn music with several programs - thats my thing ; ) but i have had a problem with the internet port and my mother board had to be replace. they also have a problem with ventilation in their laptops they only have one fanned vent. the fans also have a tendency to break. i wouldnt get one again, might want to check out mac.

I think the ACER is more good than another brand. You can buy it.
