I've been a Mac user for 20 years (my 1st Mac didn't even have an internal hard drive!) and wouldn't even think of giving any money to that pirate in Redmond. Unless you need it for work or for one of the few things you can't do on a Mac, stay with the Mac platform.
You can run Windows on a Mac if you want to, especially now with the new chips. OS X is far superior to anything coming out of Redmond, though I must admit that XP Professional is pretty nice (I have to use it at work). There is almost nothing that can be done on a PC that can't be done better on a Mac: music, art, word processing, e-mail, whatever.
One good point about PCs is that they cost less, though you generally get good value for your money with a Mac. if you actually compare on a line-item basis, Mac is a good deal. The MacMini starts at around $600 and beats the pants off ANY PC, bar none.
If you absolutely have to have a PC for some weird reason, Sony Vaio is good and Dell [http://www.dell.com/] can be a great place if you know what you want and how to ask for it correctly (say my PC-using friends).
I'm not sure what download restrictions you have with a Mac that you wouldn't have with a PC (i-Tunes is i-Tunes, no matter which platform), although you may have some issues with Safari. if that's the case, download Mozilla Firefox:

Spec for spec you simply cannot beat Mac. Am I biased? You bet!

So you want a PC with Windows? That means that you will also be able to download viruses and spyware. Figure out what you want to do with the computer. You can join MAC USER on-line forums and learn much more about your MAC.

But let's proceed. You can get a decent Desktop for $500 to $900. I would go with DELL, and look at the Dimension line first. You see, there is much more expansion capability in a desktop at a much lower price. Repairs are also cheaper.

For a Laptop, I would go to STAPLES, WalMart or Costco and look first at the Toshiba. Here, you want to LOOK at the screen size, weight, number of USB ports and other capabilities. You might even talk to the saleman, but steer for the Toshiba, since it is well made and their tech support is AWESOME. But if you like an HP that you see, then get that. But remember, Laptops can break easily, so buy a CASE. Also, Laptops are the NUMBER ONE stolen item in America. Drug users turn them into CASH. (Over 2 million were stolen last year). Let me reiterate that Dell laptops are no good. Weak construction and the new world famous EXPLODING BATTERIES; where 4.5 million were recalled last month. Also, laptop sales have been crazy with the "Back to School Moms" buying them up. So price may be high at this moment, and selection might be low. Within a week or so, a whole new product line and quantity should become available. (but for gosh sakes, don't buy a used one from that drug user).

I own a Mac and I am more than happy with it. Curious to know what you mean by to many restrictions to what you can download with it?

If you mean programs then - the quality of software for the Mac is as good as what you can get for the PC.

I would say that just buying a PC is not a perfect solution it may seem so, wait until you get driver problems! and a Virus or Spyware on the machine!

Binary options let users trade in currency pairs and stocks for various predetermined time-periods, minimal of which is 30 seconds. Executing trades is straightforward. The system uses user-friendly interfaces, which even an 8 years old kid, can operate without having to read any instructions. But winning trades is Not easy.
Binary trading is advertised as the only genuine system that lets users earn preposterous amounts of money in ridiculously short period of time. Advertisers try to implicate as if you can make $350 every 60 seconds; if it was true then binary trading would truly be an astonishing business.
However, does it make any sense? Can every trader make tons of money in binary trading? Who is actually paying all the money or the profit to traders?
The first challenge is finding a trustworthy binary broker; secondly, you need to find a binary trading strategy, which you can use to make profits consistently. Without an effective trading strategy, there is no way you can make money in this business.
Learning a profitable trading strategy is possible, You should watch this presentation video https://tr.im/03f02
It's probably the best way to learn how to win with binary option

What do you want to do with it? If you just want a computer, take your pick. But if you want to play games, or produce graphical images, etc. then the spec, as well as the recommendation will change.

Dell are not too bad, although their delivery people can be a bit hit and miss (Left new laptop safely on top of the bin on refuse day).

Sell your MAC and get at PC. I have ordered several from DELL. I got just what I paid for, and I also didn't add a bunch of junk to it. I would probably do it again, except now I want a MAC

A common misconception is that you will have to be a financial and business expert in order to successfully trade binary options. However, this is not true at all. Learn here https://tr.im/J2wgK

Perhaps it’s true when it comes to traditional stocks trading but definitely not true in the case of binaries. You don’t have to be an expert to predict the movement of certain assets.
