I answered a question which was chosen as best and Yahoo Answers is inundating my mail box with the same email over and over telling me it was chosen. I even BLOCKED Yahoo Answers and they are still coming in. HOW CAN I MAKE IT STOP?!?!?!

I'm using windows XP on an IBM Thinkpad, and occasionly a pixel of a different color than it should be appears. It's always one at a time, and the color is usually the same as a color on a page or document I visited earlier.
Any ideas of what's happening?

I mean, is it acutally an entire computer itself, or is it sort of like a device attached to a PC and is accessed through interface programs? I mean, could I just like, install Half-Life 2 or Doom 3 on it and play? Just curious. Am coming across a large sum of money and am contemplating purchasing one slightly used by the local college.

My friend was using my MacBook and had some purple marker on his hand, so the left palmrest is stained with purple Sharpie permanent marker a little. How do I get this off? Should I replace the keyboard case (plastic covering around palmrest)? How much would it cost?

Like a week ago, i had to put the speakers in my ear, twist the wires in the back of the speakers to hear it louder, or take one of the speakers and put it somewhere on the ground or in the air to make it louder.. But now it won't work! The speakers are in the back of the CPU! It's on! It's on the loudest it can be and now it won't work!! Help me!!

I can't switch on my other pc. It keeps saying check for viruses etc and then something about CHKDSK/R. I pressed F8 at start up but I'm not sure which option to choose. The OS is Windows 2000. It's a fairly new-to-me one and doesn't have any anti-virus software installed yet. Does anyone know what I'm on about? Any ideas about what I can do?

Something is wrong with the sound on my computer. I turned up the volume as high as it gets, I made sure that the Napster sound was the highest it could be, my dad did a virus scan on the computer and nothing came up. What do you think could be wrong?
