How do you shut down an e-mail you no longer use?

I signed up for an e-mail for some special reasons. Now I no longer want to use it; however, nowhere on the site can I find out how to shut it down.

Just don't check it, or log in, after a while they'll just turn off your access to it. If you ever want to use it again, click on whatever says, like, "reactivate account."

the account will be deleted automatically if you leave it alone for 30 to 90 days (time varying depending on site).

Just stop using it....... After so long, it will not be active. I know that sounds to easy, Just stop using it and share Your new E-mail account with Your Friends

email from a web-based email like yahoo, lycos, google can be terminated by contacting the support people.

if it is from a domain that you have you can go into your control panel and delete it.

u can't. just leave it alone 4 awhile, and it will automatically shut down.

EITHER DELETE IT AND STOP USING IT, OR GO INTO YOUR OPTIONS ON THE EMAIL HOMEPAGE AND SELECT TO -NOT MAKE IT SEARCHABLE - IF YOU CANT DELETE IT
