when i try to run some program:game, . exe files etc. not all but on some of them an error appears somethinsomething is not a valid win32 application what do i do i was able to run those programs before and now i cant

also cyclic redundacy check error appears what does that mean

People=====>just in the last about 48º, I have started receiving this annoying message from Microsoft Windows demanding over $150 & saying that I may not be using a so-called genuine form of Windows. I have had my used computer for over 6 months. If there is something wrong with it, why is it they are just now noticing it, praytell?! Here's basically the question: I have my own old Windows 98 software I can put into my computer & would rather do so if this malarky continues, but will I, in sodoing, lose everything I've saved in my computer? Supposedly the "problem" windows is Windows XP Professional Version 2002, Service Pack 2 & the original owner had a serial # that I have. Mind you, I know for all of you who are computer "whiz kids" this is an inane question & if you feel the need to insult this old 52 year old lady, go for it....all I want is the information....By the way, I do not have a floppy drive or a cd burner....everything I have is on my hard drive....PLEEZ HELP!!!!!!!

Hi. Um, I just downloaded Vista and I was trying to make a partion or whatever it's called but I couldn't figure out how to do it. When I right-clicked on the hard disk a menu came up but it didn't have the New Simple Volume Option. So I was wondering if anyone knew what could be wrong? Also can I use a drive emulator to install vista?

I have an mp3 file thats 8 hours long, but its only 170mbs in size, however nero wont let me burn it onto a cd (even though the cd is 650mb), it will only burn the first 80mins of the mp3. I can burn the whole thing if I do it as a 'data cd' but then it wont play in my cd player....Does anyone know how I can put an 8hour 170mb sound file onto a cd that will play in my cd player?

I have the Sims Expansion Collection, Volume 3 which contains Sims Vacation and Superstar. I have 2 computers, and each time I try to load these games in on either computer, they don't work! Something goes wrong with the neighborhoods, or it doesn't load in. Can you PLEASE help me!? Is it the discs, or my computers?! I am sooo frustrated, because I always have trouble with these 2 games! PLEASE HELP ME!!!
